SCOPE OF WORK:

Org 197 – Bishop Arts STEM Academy - Project consists of the following: Renovation of existing building to include site improvements, life cycle upgrades and interior finish out. refer to Architectural drawings.

1. Site signage: Metal post-and-panel signage with concrete footings and powder coat/painted graphics.
2. Selective demolition of existing building elements. Salvage as indicated. Patching and repairing of demotion as required.
3. New architectural storefront entry elements, including all hardware to make secure.
4. New concrete topping slab to provide adequate, code-compliant transitions and drainage. Reprofiling of existing concrete stairs as required. Leveling and prepping existing concrete as required to receive new construction.
5. New brickwork to match existing, extents as indicated on drawings
6. New waterproofing to tie into existing, including priming, flashing, coating, etc.
7. New interior metal stud framing and gypsum board
8. New doors and hardware
9. New plastic laminate-clad millwork/casework. Casework hardware as indicated
10. Manual window shades
11. Finishes include, but not limited to:
a. Painting
b. Rubber base
c. Vinyl tile
d. Carpet tile
e. Entryway walk-off surfacing
f. Acoustic panel and gypsum board ceilings

12. Mechanical demolition
13. New mechanical rooftop unit including controls
14. Electrical demolition
15. New electrical wiring, routing, and receptacles as indicated
16. New lighting fixtures as indicated
17. New fire alarm as indicated
18. Plumbing demolition
19. New plumbing fixtures as scheduled
20. New network/security/communications infrastructure as indicated

BUDGET:
Total Estimated Construction Budget (CCL + Allowances) for CSP 207673 $797,928.00

PRE-BID & LOCATION:
A pre-proposal meeting will be held via Zoom at 10:00 AM on Monday September 16, 2024 for all interested parties. This meeting is not mandatory, but information discussed will be extremely helpful in preparation of the proposal.

BID-DATE & LOCATION:

All Construction Services procurements must be physically delivered to the Construction Services office, at the Linus D. Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building 9400 North Central Expressway, Suite 800 Dallas, TX 75231. (Call 972.925.7200 for directions). Delivery to other locations will result in rejection of a CSP.

Completed CSP Package Part 1-A, 1-B and 1-C are due on Tuesday, 10/15/2024 at 2:00 PM (local time).

Completed CSP Package Part 2 is due on Wednesday, 10/16/2024 at 3:00 PM (local time).

Any materials received after the respective closing dates / times will not be considered.

The District will open and read the names of the proposers and prices submitted in responsive CSPs beginning at 3:00 P.M. local time upon submittal of Part 2 of the Package, via Zoom.
